Pilates provides personal understanding of the importance of correct postural alignment which impacts on overall health and wellbeing.

Southbourne Pilates

At Southbourne Pilates, Mel (a level 3 Diploma Pilates Instructor) prides herself on incorporating health and wellbeing into the delivery of mat-based Pilates.

With an initial background in nursing, public health and lecturing, Mel has continued to develop knowledge and insight into practises which aim to:

  • Prevent ill health
  • Maximise wellbeing
  • Develop health exercise and movement

Since qualification, Mel has achieved mixed ability Level 3 Mat Pilates, Pre and Post-Natal Pilates and Pilates for Common Ailments.
